Serial no. 302735. Manufactured circa 1962–1965 by Alpine, chambered in .30 Carbine,18" round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. This commercial carbine was assembled using post-war U.S.G.I. surplus parts and remains in a typical post-war configuration. Commercial carbines such as these became popular during the 1950s and 1960s as surplus military components entered the civilian market, offering shooters an affordable version of the wartime M1 Carbine platform. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
