Colt Single Action .38 Spcl caliber revolver. Near mint Colt PreWar/PostWar Single Action. Comes with factory letter where the gun was shipped in 1972, but strangely by serial number the frame was made in 1940. Gun is near mint with bright case colors and excellent original blue finish. Bore and cylinder chamber are possibly unfired. These guns are scarce variations of the Colt Single Action Army as they were left over Pre-War frames that were assembled using post war parts. Very fine, rare variation of Colt Single Action Army! Comes with factory letter.
