Colt Root No.5  Model Revolver. .31 Caliber. Colt Root revolver No. 5 Model, .31 Caliber with 3 ½” barrel. Fluted cylinder and patent markings in the flute. Revolver has approximately 85% to 90% bright blue. Hammer and loading lever have very good case colors. Grips are excellent with 98% original varnish. There is a tiny chip at the front edge of the toe. This is a very fine Fifth Model Root.
