Colt New Service .45 Long Colt caliber revolver. Rare Battle of Britain New Service with factory letter stating gun was purchased by the British Purchasing Commission and shipped to Winchester Repeating Arms Co in 1940. Gun is near mint with British proofs. Very small flake area on right side of barrel near muzzle. Caliber is .45 Long Colt. You see a lot of Lend Lease gun but not many actually lettered to the British Purchasing Commission!
