Colt Model 1862 Police .36 Cal Revolver. The more desirable 6 ½” barrel. All numbers are matching. Bore is very good and mostly bright. Revolver has approximately 35-40% blue. Frame and hammer have approximately 70% vivid case colors. Backstrap and trigger guard have untouched patina brass. Grips are excellent and have 100% varnish. In our opinion the varnish looks very nice but we think it was applied long ago but not original factory varnish. (Actually looks better than factory varnish) This is a sharp 1862 Police in very good plus condition.
