Colt Lightning rifle .44-40 caliber rifle from San Francisco Police Department. Serial number SFP9. Excellent condition. All most of the original blue remains. Wood is excellent. These guns were purchased by the San Francisco Police department, but where never used. They were sold off in the 1960’s. All in all there were only 401 of these sold to the SFPD. Very beautiful gun and a scarce variation!
