SN: 781287. Made in 1950. 38 Special with a 6" barrel. Colt Official Police customized into a King Super Target. Very neat revolver customized by the legendary King Gunsight Company. The metal surfaces retain about 99% reapplied blue, the King “Cockeyed Hammer” with “Never-Slip” checkering has been nicely engine-turned, the Rampant Colt is still visible but the barrel markings are mostly removed. The fully checkered target grips with Colt medallions are about very good plus as refinished. The rear sight is a micro-metered click-adjustable square notch blade, the front sight is a quick detachable undercut Dead Black steel Patridge blade with King reflector. These King revolvers are renowned for their accuracy and adjustability.
