Colt 1878 Double Action .450 caliber revolver. Pall Mall barrel address. Note: this is a very scarce .450 caliber 1878 model with British WD marked. Also marked 3.79 on frame. Early 1878's had big grips, and this is one of them. This is one of 165 guns purchased by the British Government in March 1879 for the Lancer Regiment sent to fight the Zulus. Very good bore. Action works perfectly. Rare 1878 model! From the Robert Brooker Collection.
