Rare Colt 1862 Police Trapper Model. In the Book of Colt Firearms by R.L. Wilson on page 174 is a picture of an identical example. They note that these are special order snub nose models and between 25-50 were the estimated production. This gun is in very nice condition with 50%-60% of the original blue on the barrel. Good case colors remain on the frame. Grips are very fine.
