Serial number 117482. Made in 1861. 36 caliber with a 7.5” barrel. This gun has mottled dark gray patina with small pitting throughout. Traces of cylinder scene are visible. The wood grips are reasonably sharp with a chip out of the right hand corner of the toe. The barrel, frame and cylinder are all actually pretty sharp. This gun did not get all that much use, but was stored poorly. This gun was made right during 1861 when the Civil War started. There are no military markings, but most of these guns found their way into the hands of a soldier.
