Serial No. X47363, manufactured circa 1960s, 7.62x25mm Tokarev, 4½” round barrel This Cold War-era Yugoslavian M57, a licensed and extended variant of the Soviet TT-33 Tokarev pistol, features the longer 9-round magazine and extended grip characteristic of Yugoslav production. The serial numbers are matching, and the prefix on the frame has been altered to “X”, a common post-production modification, often done during export or refurbishment. The pistol remains in very good overall condition, with light surface wear and high edge thinning consistent with use and age. Grips are solid, and the external metal finish retains a nice patina without corrosion. Mechanically, the action is smooth and functions correctly, making this a solid example of a Cold War military sidearm used by Yugoslav forces.
