Serial no. CCCP27560 (importer). Manufactured in 1950 at Tula Arsenal, chambered in 7.62x39mm,20 ½" round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are matching. The right side of the receiver is import marked. Early Tula-produced SKS carbines represent some of the first Soviet production examples of the Simonov system, produced during the early Cold War period. The rifle remains in overall very good condition with light handling marks noted on the stock. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
