Serial number 5854. Made in 1864. 44 RF caliber with a 24” barrel. Barrel has a light mottled gray patina. Rear sight has been replaced with a dove tail cut through the barrel address. Wood is very good. Sling swivel has been removed and plugged in the butt stock and the sling swivel has been removed on the barrel. Numbers are all matching. Very good Civil War Era Henry Rifle
