Chinese Norinco SKS “Paratrooper” Semi-Auto Rifle 7.62x39mm (L2026-08943)

Serial no. 21003077. Manufactured circa the 1980s, chambered in 7.62x39mm, 16.5" round barrel. Bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted. Serial numbers are matching throughout. The left side of the receiver is equipped with a scope rail. The cleaning rod and bayonet have been removed. Stock remains in good condition, showing only minimal handling wear. The compact “Paratrooper” configuration was produced primarily for the commercial export market by shortening the standard Type 56 SKS platform, making these carbines a distinctive and popular variation among SKS collectors.
