Serial no. 22029698. Manufactured circa 1977 at Chinese State Arsenal Factory 636, chambered in 7.62x39mm, 20.5" round barrel. Bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted. Serial numbers are matching throughout. Light discoloration is present on the dust cover, while the stock shows handling marks on the right side that add character and a unique appearance. The original bayonet has been removed. Factory 636 Type 56 SKS rifles are well-regarded for their dependable military construction and represent the later production years of China's long-running SKS program.
