Serial no. SKS30446 (importer-applied). Manufactured circa 1967–1968 at Chinese State Arsenal Factory 26, chambered in 7.62x39mm, 20.5" round barrel. Bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted. Serial numbers are matching except for the bolt. Of particular interest is the unique period-style “trench art” carved into the stock, consisting of two names and a symbol on the buttstock, giving this rifle a distinctive individual character and possible service history. The stock otherwise shows expected handling and usage impressions consistent with military use.
