Accompanying this set of four guns is a 22 LR conversion kit that could be used in either the WS Target or the WG Target. This gun comes in a English retailer case marked on the inside “COLE & SON/ proprietor T.P. TREVOR/ GUN, RIFLE & REVOLVER MAKER/ 21 PEMBROKE ROAD/ PORTSMOUTH/ ESTABLISHED 1855“ The outside of the case has a brass plaque marked “OFFICERS REVOLVER CLUB/ 1st South Lancashire REG“ The 1st South Lancashire regiment started in India, moved to France and Galipoli, then on to Afghanistan during WWI when these guns were made and used. Very neat set of scarce guns!
