SN: 1949 made circa 1950’s in Uelzen Germany. A 2 barrel set sharing a forearm, one being 25 1/4" 20 gauge with 2 ¾” chambers over a 22 Hornet with a claw mount holding a Hensoldt-Wetzlar Dialytan 4x scope, dovetailed front bead sight and flip up rear leaf. The other set is 24 1/2" over under express rifle barrels chambered in 7x57R with a solid rib with integral front ramp sight, standing bar and 1 folding leaf rear sight and a claw mount holding a Zeiss Diavari-C 1.5-4.5x18 scope. All bores are in excellent condition. Scalloped box lock action with ejectors, cocking indicators and double triggers. Traditional Germanic style deep relief engraving covers the entire receiver with game scenes and oak leaves with some of the oak leaves flowing into the engraving on the barrels. Nicely figured stock has a 14” LOP to the checkered butt plate with engraved screws and also features a sling swivel, starburst horn pistol grip cap with engraved screw and a one piece horn trigger guard and bottom tang with steel reinforced front. During its life, this rifle made its way to England where it received British proof marks not visible unless disassembled, was regulated by J. Roberts & Son with target included and had a custom canvas & leather case made by John Rigby & Co fitted to include both barrels, both scopes, cleaning kits, ammo boxes, sling and oiler. Overall a very nice classic German combination gun in very good condition. Comes with case.
