Serial no. 181485. Manufactured in 1906 by Carl Gustafs Stads, chambered in 6.5x55mm Swedish, 29.5" round barrel. Bore is good with strong, well-defined rifling noted. Serial numbers are matching throughout with the exception of the floorplate. The rifle remains in overall very good condition, showing only minimal handling wear from careful service and storage. The Swedish m/1896 is widely regarded as one of the finest Mauser variants ever produced, known for its exceptional craftsmanship, accuracy, and smooth operation. Action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
