Bulgarian BSR-74 rifle 5.45×39mm (2025-14686)

Serial number AD295554. This gun started off life as a 1989-dated AK-74 select fire assault rifle built at the Bulgarian state-owned "Circle 10" arms factory, but then it was rebuilt using a new receiver as a semi-automatic rifle by the privately owned Bulgarian company ISD. As a part of its conversion from AK-74 to BSR-74 (the "BSR" stands for "Bulgarian Sporting Rifle"), the full auto trip on the bolt carrier & the bayonet lug were ground off. It is equipped with an original Bulgarian 16.3-inch barrel that has a bright bore with strong visible rifling. The original Bulgarian safety switch has been replaced by a U.S. made safety equipped with a finger extension that can be manipulated by the trigger finger. Overall condition is excellent with black enamel paint over phosphate finish across the metallic parts & military surplus birch wood furniture. Comes with a 30-round Bulgarian magazine & a 15.5-inch cleaning rod.
