Serial number 269. Made circa early 1900s. 7.63 Mauser caliber with a 16” barrel. This gun is in excellent condition as configured and refinished. Original Mauser carbines are extremely rare with only a handful known. This gun appears to be a creation of someone wanting an original. The left hand side of the receiver is marked “VON LENGERKE/ & DETMOLD/ NEW – YORK” The wood is excellent.
