Serial No. 53529, manufactured circa 1894–1898, chambered in .455 Webley and later cut for .45 ACP, featuring a 4” octagonal barrel. The bore is bright with faint, shallow rifling, consistent with factory characteristics of the period. The cylinder has been shaved to accept .45 ACP with moon clips. Original bluing is beginning to thin and transition to a smooth grey patina, while factory markings remain sharp and well defined. A large Broad Arrow acceptance mark is present on the top strap of the barrel, and the back strap is marked “N/50,” indicating British Navy issue. Grips remain in very good condition with crisp checkering. The lanyard loop has been removed. The action indexes correctly with a tight lockup, presenting as a solid and honest example of an early naval-issue Webley revolver.
