NSN, circa 1809-1815, .75 caliber, 39” round smoothbore barrel. Barrel has a dark brown patina. Lock plate is blank, mostly likely due to it being captured and removed. Wood is dark with expected nicks, dings and scratches visible. Ram-rod has been replaced with what looks to be a French period one. Action holds at half and full cock.
