NSN, circa early 1800’s, .70 caliber, 9” round barrel. Barrel and lock plate are in the bright with scattered areas of pin-prick pitting noted. Barrel has Birmingham proof marks visible on the left side. Lock plate is marked with “CROWN/GR-Broad Arrow” rear of hammer is marked “TOWER”. Rear of side plate are store keepers stamps, wood has minimal handling wear noted. The attached ram rod has been removed and replaced with period correct wooded one. Action holds at half and full cock.
