Serial No. 116651, made in 1914, 9mm, 5" barrel. 90% original finish is present, bore is bright with strong rifling visible. Left side of the slide is inscribed with "R.A.GROSVENOR/QUEENS BAYS". Grosvenor was assigned to 84 Squadron in 1917 flying S.E. 5a plane No. B8408 and would shoot down 16 planes from December 1917 to May 1918. Grosvenor would receive two Military Cross Awards. Action functions correctly. Rare chance to own a flying's Ace side arm! Consignment.
