Serial No. U2566, manufactured circa 1938–1943, chambered in .38 S&W with a 5” octagonal barrel. The bore is bright with strong rifling noted. Finish has thinned to an overall grey patina, while the frame retains the majority of its original blued finish, creating an attractive service-worn appearance. The left side of the frame is marked “FTR/52,” indicating a Factory Thorough Repair carried out in 1952. This revolver remains mechanically sound, with the action indexing correctly, and represents a solid, honest example of a British wartime service revolver commonly associated with armored and support units.
