British Enfield Long Lee Mk I Bolt-Action Rifle – .303 British (59001)

Serial No. 7580, manufactured 1896, .303 British, 30" round barrel. Bore is good, exhibiting strong rifling consistent with careful long-term storage. Rifle remains in very good overall condition, with the stock showing light handling impressions and a crisp 1902-dated cartouche. A significant amount of the original blue finish remains intact. Bolt is non-matching, a common occurrence on early Long Lees due to arsenal service and component replacement over their lengthy careers. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A handsome and well-preserved example of an early Enfield Long Lee Mk I, retaining strong markings and desirable original finish. Rifle is also equipped with a B.S.A optical sight.
