Serial no. B3177. Manufactured circa 1908 by Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken, chambered in 7x57mm,29 ½" round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are matching. Approximately 95% of the original blue remains on the barrel, while the receiver is correctly in the white with sharp, crisp markings. The Brazilian Model 1908 rifles are among the finest Mauser contract rifles produced, known for their exceptional fit, finish, and smooth operation. The stock shows minimal handling impressions and remains in very good condition. The action is exceptionally smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly. (Dallas Location)
