SN: 8843 made in England circa 1880. 12 gauge side by side top lever hammer shotgun featuring a grip safety with 28" sleeved *nitro proofed* barrels utilizing the original Damascus top rib to keep the original legend giving the rib a damascus pattern visible through the bluing. 2 3/4" chambers, chokes measure .011/.015. Engraved round body back action with double triggers and Deeley latch forend release, nicely figured checkered walnut furniture with a straight grip stock and a 14.25" LOP to the original steel butt plate. Furniture has some handling marks but no cracks or damage, action still retains a good portion of the original case colors, barrels are in very good condition, tight and on face and the bores are excellent.
