NSN, circa 1840s–1850s, .50 caliber, 38 ¼” heavy octagonal barrel with a smooth brown patina and areas of light surface oxidation. Lock plate is clearly marked “W.M. Moore & Co.” Stock remains in good condition with minor handling marks and an old repair visible near the bolster. Rifle features double set triggers that function correctly. Action holds securely at both half and full cock.
