Price: $1,295.00
Item Number: AL5770
Houston Location.
In stock
No Serial Number, circa 18th/19th century, chambered in .62 caliber with a 36 ¼” round barrel featuring a swamped muzzle. Barrel has a dark grey patina with acid-etched floral patterns visible around the breech and muzzle. Secured with five brass barrel bands and two brass sheets that wrap around the barrel. Lock plate is marked with a rampant lion and dated 1811. Stock shows light handling wear and is inlaid with mother of pearl from the sling swivel to the bone butt plate, with a few missing inlay pieces noted. Action holds at both half and full cock. A fine example of a period conversion from flintlock to percussion.
