No Serial Number, circa early 19th century, chambered in 1" bore with a 44” octagonal Damascus barrel featuring a cannon-style muzzle. Barrel has a grey patina and is engraved with floral decorations at the breech and muzzle. Secured with four brass wire barrel bands. Lock plate is marked with a rampant lion and dated 1811. Stock is decoratively carved with raised wood near the butt and inlaid with mother of pearl, though some inlay is missing on the butt-cap and butt. Stock shows a light crack near the muzzle and is chipped and worn along the edges. Action holds at both half and full cock.
