Whitney-Howard Single Shot shotgun. Made by Whitney Arms under Charles Howards patent. These were only made a few years in the 1870s-1880s. This gun is in nice shape with 40% of the original blue mixed with a nice smooth patina. The wood is nice as well. There is a brass weld on the lever where it was repaired long ago.
