Winchester 1885 .32-40 caliber rifle. High Wall rifle. Manufactured approximately 1889. Barrel length 30" and the bore has strong rifling and roughness in the grooves. Barrel is half round and half octagon and is a No. 3 barrel. Receiver case colors have turned to a nice smooth Gray and Brown patina. Markings are all sharp and clear. Edges are sharp. Stock is good plus showing bruises and nicks and dings but solid with no cracks or chips. High Wall in popular caliber.
