Carl Gustafs Stad 1896 6.5 X 55 Swedish caliber rifle. 1906 production. Matching serial numbers. The bore has strong rifling and is dark in the grooves. It has a Robert Geller Uhlen Flucht 4 X 81 German scope. The rings and mount are unmarked European Military Style. During the 1950s the Swedes used later scopes and mounts on their sniper rifles. This rifle has a military style mount and a sniper style scope that we have not seen before.
