French Cavalry Saber. Patterned after the US Model 1840. The blade is not engraved or marked. Hilt is brass with wire wrapped leather grip. The blade is 36” and overall length is 42½”. Scabbard and hilt have a browning patina. Glad is very good; overall very good condition.
