Sharps Model 1863 Saddle Ring Carbine .52 caliber rifle. .52 caliber with an excellent bore. Barrel has a mostly plum patina with blue remaining. Frame has pitting and a grey patina. Wood has typical handling marks. Cartouches are still visible, both the Civil War cartouche and the conversion cartouche. Very good Sharps Saddle Ring Carbine conversion.
