Japanese Type 38 6.5 Japanese caliber rifle. Rare Siamese Police carbine. This is an early post WWII rework of a Japanese Type 38 done by the Siamese Government. Rifle has crest and script writing over chamber with serial number. Note the “M-1 carbine” style oiler-sling cut out in butt stock. Stock is slimmer than usual Type 38. Has no arsenal or Japanese markings on left side of the receiver. Forend removed for Siamese Police. Scarce model in very good plus condition!
