Remington Rolling Block Carbine. Unique Remington Rolling Block carbine made to look like an 1867 Navy carbine. Barrel length is 23½”. Anchor is noted as with serial number on barrel. Receiver is from a model 1871 Remington Rolling Block, right side has Eagle over “US” Springfield “1872”. 92% Original blue on barrel. Receiver is a gray patina with some areas of pitting. Bore is bright with minor area of pitting. Stock is good shows minor handling wear with a strong crisp cartouche. A very unique carbine!
