Serial No.OR8403, made in 1889 at the Brescia Arsenal, 6.5mm, 33 ¾ ” round barrel. Bore is dark with frosting and pitting visible in the lands and grooves, rifling is in fair to good condition. Majority of the original blue has thinned to a brown patina with traces of original blue visible in protected areas. Stock has expected handling and usage wear marks noted. Action functions correctly, This rifle was converted and would have been issued During WWI!
