Serial number 149098. Made 1903. 38 Colt Caliber with a 4 ½” barrel. This gun has a mostly gray patina finish with blue in the protected areas. “Am. Exp. Co. No. 1058”  is factory inscribed on the back strap. Grips are very good showing some carry use. This gun comes with a factory letter confirming the configuration and inscription. This gun was shipped to William Read & Son. Most if not all of the American express guns were sent to this well known firm.
