NSN, circa mid 19th century, .75 caliber, 39.5" round smoothbore barrel. Metal is a dark brown/grey patina with scattered oxidation noted. Lock plate is marked "Birch" with floral and sun bursts engraving. Stock is nicely varnished with light handling wear visible. Action does not hold at full cock due to weak spring. Consignment
