U.S. Civil War Cartridge box issued to Union soldiers. Box is in fair condition, leather is dry with the top flap flaking. Brass plate has been removed, inside flap is marked "C PETERS" original cartridge tins are present. Pieces of the shoulder strap are still secured in the latches.
