NSN, circa 1858-1865, .22RF, 2.5" octagonal barrel marked " ALLEN & WHEELOCK. WORCESTER. MSUS/ALLEN'S PAT'S. SEPT 7 NOV.9.1858" Bore is poor with oxidation visible in the lands and grooves. Metal is a grey/brown patina, grips are good with light handling wear. Action functions but timing is off. Consignment
