Serial No. 5079, made in 1865, .44 caliber, 7.5" octagonal barrel. Barrel has approximately 40% blue thinning to a grey patina. Frame has been cleaned at some point and is a light grey patina. Serial numbers are matching, bore's rifling remains strong with frosting noted in the grooves. Grips have handling and usage wear visible with faint cartouche noted. Pistol has had a light coat of lacquer applied. Action indexes correctly with tight lock up.
