SN: 395074. Made in 1918. .45 with a 5" barrel. Bore is bright with strong rifling, minor frosting is noted in the grooves. Desirable World War I Colt 1911 with Colt's "Rough Finish" also known as the "Black Army" for its dark finish. Pistol has approximately 45% of factory blue with areas transitioning to a brown/gray patina. Colt type 1 grips show expected handling wear but remain in good condition. Action functions properly. Overall good condition example of a Colt "Black Army" (DALLAS LOCATION)
