NSN, made in 1837 by Springfield Armory, .69 caliber, 42" round proofed barrel. Barrel and other iron parts are a brown/grey patina with mottled surface oxidation visible throughout. Musket was converted from flintlock to percussion with the "Cone" style method. Lock plate is marked with "Eagle/ U.S." rear is marked "SPRING/FIELD/1837". Stock is very good with light handling wear visible. Action holds at half and full cock.
