SN: R1711. Made in 1915 with a 25.2-inch barrel that is chambered for the .303 rifle cartridge. Overall condition of the rifle is excellent with original finish on the metal parts & wood with none of the dings & dents that one would expect to see on a rifle that experienced vigorous military service. Unit marks appear on the stock disc & the crown Cypher "GR" for Georgius Rex (King George V) is marked below the crown on the metal part of the right side of the stock wrist. Rifle has the pre-World War I-era magazine cut-off & volley sights mounted on the left side of the stock forward of the rear sight assembly. Comes with an original leather sling & a 10-round box magazine. Consignment
