This is an early WW2 production fixed-bale, front-seam M1 helmet that was made by McCord Radiator Company of Hadfield manganese steel. Comes with a World War II production Westinghouse high pressure molded resin impregnated cloth laminate liner. The steel pot is in very good condition overall & still has World War II era cork-aggregate paint on it as well as a painted 2LT bar on the outside front & a partial individual SN on the inside. While both chin straps are present on the steel pot, the longer strap is in rough condition. The liner is in good condition with intact suspension & it also has a 2LT bar painted on the exterior.
