SN: B7288. Made in 1941 with a 23-inch .30-06 barrel that has a bright bore that is in very good condition with strong rifling. The barrel SN is 5053 which does not match the receiver SN, but that is not unusual for Model of 1941 Johnson rifles because no effort was made at the Cranston Arms|Johnson Automatics factory to match components on the assembly line. Accordingly, the bolt - which is numbered B2686 - does not match the receiver SN. This rifle is only 19 SN digits off of a known USMC 1941 Johnson rifle (Canfield, page 249), so there is a high likelihood that this example was one of the 773 Johnson rifles acquired by the USMC during the Second World War. The gun's overall condition is excellent with no rust or oxidation on the metal parts & the stock is in excellent condition as well.
